perhaps the only reasons why its not used a competitive game is probably because of the die hard 1.6 fans, the huge community it already has, the distaste for changing to a new game/inital backlashes against Source (which admittedly had problems upon release). i suppose if you like walling as well, you wont' like Source, but again i think the creators were aiming to make Source more realistic (hence you can't wall through concrete walls) etc... other than that everything is actually very similar to 1.6.

BUT. EVERYONE SHOULD PLAY BATTLEFIELD 2 for PC. i played the pc version before i played the xbox version, and i dont know how people can stand playing the xbox version. it's just so much worse. and for the uninitiated, battlefield 2142 just came out.

i guess i forgot to mention unreal 2007 also came out already. it'll be re released on ps3, but its my firm belief that deathmatch games are just better with mouse and keyboard.

i probably wont play h2 on the PC, since i have no intention on making the change to vista immediately (not until i get a new machine). besides h3 will come out by the time vista is released (if not shortly afterwards), so no reason to play the old game right?

I love Battlefield 2 for XBL one of the best games ever, i might get battlefield, or fear both are prolly very fun. Thnx 4 all those suggestions evry1.
