and that's why EA sucks. if you put out a product you need to support it. if you don't support the product after it comes out, then that just means your a shitty company that doesn't give a **** about your consumers to begin with. you be definition suck. i'm always surprised by people who defend companies with this attitude; if best buy sold you something and it didn't perform to your expectations, and then told you to **** off after you bought it, would you like best buy? no. well same goes with EA. just because something is the way it is, doesn't mean it should be. okay fine EA has dedicated servers. i dont care. most PC games are run that way (CS notably) and i dont have to download useless programs that have advertising (the downloaded software practically is just one giant advertising button). i choose volunteer based dedicated servers over paid for by advertising servers any day of the week. if your game is really that good (Counterstrike hello?) then you dont need that shit.
EA has been sued countless times for treating employees like shit as well. not paying overtime, underpaying software people, etc...
there is nothing that pisses me off more than a company that puts out stuff and turns around says give you a big eff you when something goes wrong.
