if you wanted to get shitty about it, couldnt you legally make them pay that amount? or at least all they had? i mean morally it doesnt sound right, but couldnt you?
i remember a guy on good morning america who put an old wedding dress from his ex on ebay and put some hilarious, red neck story to it. it got so much publicity in the short time it was auctioning it ended up at like 650,000 or some ridiculous price...and he even got emails with marriage proposals hahaha
