The only reason iR is known to most people now as "infraRed" is because Seph one day randomly decided to change it...and has been calling it that ever since... When I first came to this forum... it was "instant Replay"... now everyone thinks it's "infraRed" because that's what Seph calls it. There was a topic on it a while ago, a little while after I had come to this forum... when Seph made a post about "iR being infraRed because Seph thought it sounded cooler"... In that post THG explained why it stood for "instant Replay" (because the origional members were good at producing Halo and H2 movies)
