A Successful Plan! - 04-18-2007, 08:21 PM

I am in my "junior" year (gr 11) and on my January Report Card (I had exams and finished my first semester courses then) I did bad on my report card.

My marks were something around: 77,71,61,60,50

A 60 is a pass (77 and 71 are not too bad, but the 50.. ouch)

My parents never knew when the report card was coming out, or if there would be one. I was lucky enough that for some reason this year the school did not send them a message telling them.

I lied to my parents, saying I didn't know when a report card was coming, which later turned into "I think it comes out in April with my second semester progress report" (Progress report is basically a report card, it shows how you are doing so far, it also shows your previous marks)

My plan was, that I would have better marks on the report card/progress report coming, and they will say "Wow you did bad, but your marks are improving"

This way I would not have stuff taken away or what not/ grounded.

On my progress report, I got my marks a bit higher (I did not deserve them, because I was once again slack, I just got lucky and had no work at all to do thus far)

This semester I got: 85,81,80,76,60

They were not happy with the borderline 60, but they realized I had done a lot better. I do know this year is an extremely important year for grades, and I am going to work hard to bring my average up to a 75.

Anyway, this may seem small to some, but this is a huge success because I got bad marks, and never got in trouble for it. I'm lovin' it.

Lol ^^

yours,
