there was no brushing at all
anyways... apophysis is fun, especially when you have no idea what your doing in it
. but i would recommend messing with the render it gives you then condensing part of it into a sig, and then messing around with it even more

the sig isn't that bad, but it seems to be missing a crisp feel to it. erm... 7/10

ooh, just got an idea. next time you do something like that, try to go with a less cluttered part of the render. there seems to be too much going on in that.
