Ok, so there have been some discussions about 'good' hosts and whatnot and what contitutes a 'good' host. Well, it is greatly dependant on the UPLOAD speeed of your connection, as well as the DOWNLOAD speed.

This thread is for testing your connection speed and posting your rates. I will try and update this initial post with the speeds of players. This way, if we are looking for a good host for something we can find it easily.

Ok, so to test your speed. Visit this link --> http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest

When there, pick the Server closest to you, then also check the server farthest from you and write down your speeds. Then, when you post... have it look like this:

Server Location 1:
Download: XXXX kbps
Upload: XXXX kbps

Sever Location 2:
Download: XXXX kbps
Upload: XXXX kbps

I'm hoping this works out... but it may not. I dont know. Remember, this should be done on your home computer, on the same network that your xbox is on.

Edit: I just moved, so i'll be posting my new connection speeds as soon as possible

Edit 2: I'm going to delete posts that I have already updated into the list. This way the thread stays easy to read and maintain.

Edit 3: Ok... so when I delete posts it bumps it off of the front page. I'm going to keep the most recent post until a new person posts, so that we can keep this active for a little while... man... trying to use these mod powers for something other than moderating is pretty hard.
