Chrono Trigger: best RPG on the SNES

Has anyone even heard of this game? If you haven't, I suggest downloading an emulator and playing it. It's probably my favorite RPG of all time, and one of the best ever in my opinion.

I had a friend who litterly bought every RPG game that ever came out for about 10 years straight, I think that is his favorite RPG game also.

I never got into RPG's though.

I have it, and I don't really like it that much.

Just thought I'd mention this, I have a friend who LOVES this game. Guess it just depends on what you like/dislike.

it was good, but i prefered Super Mario RPG and Earthbound...

SNES is still the only system that i don't own, i waiting for all those three on wii vc...

im not a big fan of RPG but Paper Mario (N64) and Fable (xbox) were extremly good games

Super Mario RPG is better than Chrono Trigger IMO.

I played Chrono Trigger a while back, and it just seemed like the game was too hectic. With all of the 2D sprites every which way, it just seemed like there was a lot they could have done to the game to make it better.

And then along came Super Mario RPG in all of its glory. Using Pre-rendered sprites, it revolutionized RPG's. It pretty much defined them.

Still, Pokemon all the way, though. <3
