i currently have Source now everyone says 1.6 is better but they never say WHY its better now im giving you the chance

WHY should i spend another 10$ and Purchase 1.6 when i am perfectly happy with source

IDK why, i am new to CS I havent played in 4 years. I was told the hit boxes act up in CS Source. I also did not have the money to purchase source, so I spent my money on 1.6

Source only got better graphics.
The hitboxes are totaly messed up.
