Connection Factor

Time and time again I find I'm doing great one day and sucking terribly the other. And when I'm sucking I wondering what is the top player doing that I'm not; normally I would be the first one dead giving me ample time to watch all the players on my team. There is no big difference in his tactics but all his shots make contact unlike mine. On a good day my shots make contact, but I asked myself what is making my shots hit all of a sudden? There was an interesting correlation between bullet lag and how well I was doing. It was the connection the whole time that screwed me up!

I just want to know if bullet lag causes you to suck, because it dictates how well I do in most games.

I agree, and my tactics are usually superior if I am actually communicating to my teammates(sometimes they won't listen or just trash in which case i unplug my mike). But there is always that one crucial shotgun fight for a weapon or at the end of the round when there is still a good chance for both teams to win. This is when connection/accuracy matters and it aggravates me when I lose because my shotgun shots only take effect a second later.

I just want to know if anyone else has similar hatreds towards bullet lag. Leading my target is such a pain after playing H2 so much.
