So MLG Chicago is now hosting Shadowrun as a competetive game alongside the likes of Halo 2, Gears of War and Rainbow 6 Vegas.

Do you guys think that Shadowrun will make a big impact this event?

Do you think it will take a while to catch on?

Is this the new Halo 2?

Not a big enough fan base, a thread on MLG that someone made "Will you stay after Halo 3" and half the kids said no. So I doubt it will last.

i love this game so much, i doubt it will just float away, ya the main base of the competitve title is small, but witht he pros picking it up, it will get bigger, and from what ive seen the pros like walshy, ogre 2, shook on3, and about 2-3 more are all considering this game 2 make it big with mlg, and i think that if h3 blows it in some way i think most of the pros will switch to shadowrun, i have ran into soooo many pro player of halo in sr public matches and when i ask them what they think of the game most of them say "if h3 is as bad as the beta than we gotta find a new home" or somethin of that sort, i myself will only leave the game if poopyhead goes too h2, i just like playin with my friends, i dont care about which game is more competitive or w/e i just wanna play with people who i like and can lauph with


either way, its a great game and i hope it doest just float away

Unless Shadowrun releases some new maps, gametypes, etc., this game will fade away because there is too much repetition and not enough maps/gametypes to make it a truly great game for MLG to pick up.

it will come, im positive, eXt works for fasa and hes on StK for mlg chicago, so im veryyyyyyy positive that since he actually in there he can get them to do things more than a community could
