Yeah I have a mini, shuffle (which im giving to my gf) and a video, You can put it on a mini but since its already built black and white they can't really change it, but its pretty much the same. The only thing I don't like is that idoom doesn't really work since its sooo small its distorted. Other then that all the other games are perfect (it comes with almost 30 games)

I installed rockbox. It works fine, I would def. reccomend it.

EDIT: How do i play videos on rockbox?

2nd Edit: Now my ipod is ****ing broken. I tried to play a mpeg video on it (81mb) it is now stuck in a blue screen. I can't reboot it or anything.

Aight first you need to give more info like where you put the video the correct way would be:

.Rockbox--->(Make) Videos----> MPEG VIDEO


I don't know what ipod your using sorry I just read through the post pretty quick, but if you look on the rockbox technicall forums they are having problems with one of the types playing videos.

Also to fix your ipod and get it out of blue screen do this, toggle the hold on and off, hold menu and select, it should put reboot it, when it does hold play and select and you will be in disk mode, connect it to your computer and go to itunes on your ipod and restore it to factory settings, it will just re-sync everything.

It should work though, if not just re-post or ill post it on the rockbox forums if you don't have an account.

Its working now. I have a feeling the video was too big and took 4hours to load!!. It was MPEG and i had already tried all the things you had said. But thanks for the advice anyway. By the way my iPod is a Nano 1st gen.
