I was just wondering if any of you guys have modded your ipods or players to use rockbox or ipod linux. Why would I post this in general gaming? Well I am looking for people who have done this to help me build a Doom Wad file and I need some help with textures. If you don't know what rockbox is or ipod linux, it turns your ipod into something better and lets you kill your battery faster. You can play the origional doom on your ipod as well as Doom II, and modified doom games which im looking for help to do.
If any of you guys want to discuss some ideas, im open its gonna take me prolly a month to get a general concept level down anyway. Thanks to anyone who can help with textures to.

Nerdy almost 100%, hard? Hardly lol.
Yeah you can watch videos on your nano and you get some pretty sweet games, but like i said I just need help making textures for a new doom game since I suck with photoshop

The goal of ipod inux is to make your ipod run linux most effectively, the goal of rockbox which I use is to make the pimpest mp3 player. I have a 5.5g ipod video and linux doesn't have a supported installer for it, so instead of riskig losing my music, I just went to rockbox which is pretty much the same. But yeah I think doom on an mp3 player equals the shiznit, so I meen it depends on what you want to do with your ipod, or mp3 player.
(rockbox runs on almost all mp3 players with a screen apart from cheepos)
