IMO Blizzard > Bungie any day for gaming. I can't think of any other gaming company that will patch a game that's nearly 10 years old for the sake of balance and competitive gaming. While no game is 'perfect' when it's released, I don't think anyone updates/fixes their games as much as Blizzard has. Look at Bungie and the melee system, it's just embarrassing to see the early comments they made. For as much fun as I've had with the Halo series, I won't think twice about ditching H3 and my 'fame' for Starcraft 2.

For now though, I could care less about WoW and will continue to play H3/DOTA, but that doesn't mean one is better. However, I definitely feel Blizzard > Bungie.

you cant compare like everyone else said. goat does bring up a great point that i think it can be easily argued blizzard cares more about game balance/comptetivity since theyre still updating dota 10 or whatever years he said since its making. i tried to get into dota since my friend loves it but eh, too long for me.


on a side note ephrum when did leethax actually get pro with full veng and the weapon. i like him better with goofy gear spamming everywhere not a prozor

in my opinon wow is to long and boring for me, and im not mthat big of a PC gamer at all, Halo in other words is fvcking fun as hell. Keeping me awake for more then a couple hours.

Halo>wow even if the beatdown system in halo 3 is now the stupidest thing ever, Atleast there bringing back lockout.

He's posted in this thread, how has he disappeared? Just because someone loses interest in one facet of life doesn't mean they are completely sucked into a game.

Even if he does like wow a lot, who gives a shit, that's his choice.

I was hopelessly addicted to halo 2 my junior and senior year in high school and never thought anything bad of it because it simply "wasn't a game you could get addicted to." But I lost some good friends because I played that game for almost nine hours a day. WoW is no different than halo or any other video game when it comes to addiction. No matter what you do in life you can become addicted to it, whether its a video game, jerking off, posting on a gaming website or just even eating a certain thing for breakfast. If you do something enough it becomes routine and you feel almost lost when you don't do it.

And to say an entire company sucks because of one video game is ridiculous, especially when it's a game that has received as much attention as WoW. They clearly must be doing something right if they have millions of unique players for hours on end, years after the game released. Fact is, many people see WoW as a good game and enjoy playing it. Trying to figure out if halo > WoW is never going to happen because they are completely different games. For myself right now, Halo CE > Halo 2 > WoW > Halo 3...and not because I think one game is better than another, but because of how much I enjoy each game. It's a personal preference, and if you don't like it, or disagree with me, fine, that's your choice, but don't try and tell me I am wrong, because it's a f*cking opinion.

Ooh, speaking of which... Ephrum, has Blizzard announced anything else about WoTLK?All I know is that they added in that one new place a few patches ago, I saw a kid in my apartment playing in it, and it looked pretty nice.

the combined time ephrum spent editing and playing halo roughly equal the time he plays wow. i have played with him on both systems for quite a long time, and i can say its about even...maybe one being a little higher than the other by a small amount.

his interests just changed, it wasnt because wow is sooo addictive (but im not saying i dont disagree its addictive..it certainly is). its because he lost interest in editing for halo and playing halo over time, and gained interest in wow. the time he spent playing halo would thereby be equal to wow time give or take a few.

and it wasnt like wow just instantly took over, before he even had a wow account his playing time on halo was dwindling down day by day. wow didnt make him quit halo, repetiveness did.


same happened for me but im not some prestigious gaming editor on halo forums. i just lost interest halo and found wow to be more enjoyable.

They've only really updated the bestiary, but I don't know what you have seen from that.

shake did it look bloodelfish in landscape? you probably say the queldanis island they added. has a shitton of dailies (you can net like 200g per day if you do all of em). and its a really good world pvp zone.

gotsta logged on and showed me and i did a few quests for him with his druid...its fun stuff
