if wrath of the lich king is some how amazing and i have the time for it i may reroll for a bit. until then theyve dumbed everything down to where it doesnt seem challenging enough for me to want to play it

So i'm gonna take the high road and say that, it's based on opinion. I personally have much more memories playing halo than playing wow. i'm not sure why it happens. WoW is a more nerdy game, don't deny it. And arguing that just because the games are based upon different principles, Hard work or luck in Halo, or dedication and once again luck in WoW doesn't mean anyone of them is better. They are almost entirely different and shouldn't be compared to each either, and respectively will probably always be known as two of the most influential games in gaming history.

Statistically you choose probably the top 2 games to compare seeing how WoW has the most players playing any game at any moment along with having the most subscriptions out there for a single game. And we all know halos record breaking sell out stats.

IMO. Halo2 > WoW

Just because of sentimental value.


P.s. Thimo, stfu.. noone cares about your opinion of WoW because all it is is negative and anyone with any intelligence has the capability to realize the aspects of one of the greatest games of our decade(s).

P.P.S. WoW is more addicting than any other game i've played but it doesn't cause you to lose interest in any thing. I still do the same things, and have the same friends and even new ones. If your gonna argue that you have to argue that Halo makes you lose interest aswell...and if your gonna admit that WoW is so addicting.. your also admitting that it is in some ways a game that attracts not only hundreds of players, not thousands... but millions.

case and point the RP(roleplaying) servers/forums, wow is a daily thing for players, people even move things around in there day to fit to there wow schedule.


with halo its a stop and go game, its not something you sit there for 4+ hours a day and play.You dont get into the game in a Wow way.

lol @ this thread about WoW ''taking over my life''. Honestly I put less time into WoW as I ever did Halo 2 (when you take into account graphics, editing, playing the game). Intrests change tbh... and why would I continue to edit/create Halo videos when the game no longer really intrests me? I'm sorry people miss me when it comes to Halo/Editing, but just uh... move on I guess? I've been still messing around in Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, 3DS Max -- This being majorly a Halo 2 gaming forum, I just haven't bothered to update any of you with any of my work. (mostly as of now 25 man raid boss kills and fights).

And yeaaah -- Smeagz. IDK when Treason decided to be not-bad and hit 2k 3v3. CRAAAAAAZY I SAY.

That varies from person to person. Some people spend four hours a day running MLG scrims just to get better and hopefully "go pro."

Yeah sure, there is a RP server that makes you play as your character, but who is to say that forces people to be obsessed with the game. I happen to know a bunch of guys over at SeasonedGamers.com that play on a RP server and happen to lead normal and healthy lives.

You can get addicted to any game, it's just a question of whether or not you let it control you.
