Skill build
rage/stats/stats/rage/rage/ult/rage/stats/stats/stats/ult/ferver 11-15, ult 16, stats until 21, then blind

Stats > ferver bc otherwise your lane will get pushed too far.

Item build I get treads and then lothars as quickly as possible. After lothars I get SnY. Most bad kids get bashers thinking they will get permastun better, but it doesn't stack well and the slow from SnY will stack.

After that it's very simple. Make sure you're in melee form. Find a kid who can't see you. Turn ult on. Use lothars to get in their face, and then they die to mass stun/slow/dps.

After those items I usually go 1 of 3 routes.

Vs a game you're doing well in, but there's a chance you die, I go butterfly.

In a game against lots of disablers (lion, bane, rhasta, etc) I go BKB. If you get this, use lothars, then once ur in their face turn on BKB and THEN ur ult. GG them.

If the game is a complete rapefest, I go rapier.

Usually after one of these I get vlads for the life steal.

For me, troll is easiest hero to go beyond godlike every single time. His early game is good enough, his late game is unstoppable. 120 ias + blind + 10% 2 second stun> voids stupid crap any day IMO.

my friend went 21-0 (supposedly) with the warlock he told me.


i looooved the warlock i did the best with him and went like 7-3 which is on the bad side of average i think?

I really don't like warlock much at all actually. I've gone 35-0 with a bounty hunter, but that game was just broken from the start. It's also from the old bliz patch so I can't up it. Everything went right, and more impressively, the other team didn't leave. 7-3 is respectable for the warlock, even though I really despise the hero.

Skills..

The heal/damage spell is very useful early on. Late game it's useless.

I've never used or see anyone use upheaval ever.

Fatal bonds is good, but only if your team is filled with AOE nukers. After doing mathcraft, it basically doubles spell damage if you can hit a whole team with a spell, and the entire team is bonded. Otherwise it's pretty useless.

Infernal is good, great for starting a team fight. Even better when you have two and two demon summons from necromoninicon.

He's very popular in high level play (non easy mode (-em) games where you can't get level 25 and get uber gear at a very fast pace) but in pub games (almost always easy mode) all his skills are useless late game.

In short, I don't like him in pub games, but in league games he's a good hero.

goat when i pick up w3 tomorrow we should play and you can teach me some stuff, i know to buy some stuff from the start but thats about it.

like gloves of haste and boots of speed, then get the leg after, for most melee class's

It's a custom game variant for Warcraft 3's expansion. Basically there are two sides on the map. There are 3 main routes to take to reach the other base. At each of the start points of the routes, you have uncontrolled guys spawn, that will help you and attack the other team. There's towers and junk to slow them down. You get a single hero (one exception, one hero becomes 4) and play a team game (generally 5v5) and try to out push the other team and destroy them. Your hero is sorta like a WoW hero in that you gain levels for skills/stats and you can kill guys for gold/items. It's hella addicting. At any given time, out of all the customs being played in Warcraft 3, at LEAST half are DOTA.
