for those of you who don't know Michael Moore is the man responsible for the films Bowling for Columbine, and Fahrenheit 9/11. The guy is such a staunch liberal that he embarrasses himself. He clouds his own extremely biased opinions and his beliefs generally have no base in reality. I thought that Bowling for Columbine was a decent watch, and in some parts quite funny, but with Fahrenheit, he doesn't even do any adequate research, and instead decides to rely on conspiracy theory rather than fact. Putting aside from the fact that his arguments are cliche, he's just as bad of a blubbering vagina as O'Reilly, Limbaugh, or Coulter. He may be on the other side of the political spectrum, but he's just as bad.

ya he is wrong about many things in Farenheit 9/11
From what I understand the bush administration had nothing to do with the Taliban and Osama but it was either the Nixon or Jimmy Carter regime where they supplied weapons and other things during the cold war.

you have to understand though at the time 'any enemy of communism was a friend of the US'. so yeah, a lot of the arms that the taliban has (RPG's, guns, NATO ammunition) did come from the US. a lot of these were CIA trained as well -- but Michael Moore is just bordering on the absurd with the broad conspiratorial statements that he makes.

Yeah, the US trained Osama, and thats why I believe he hasn't been caught yet....
