yeah, I'll be fine-tuning the materials as I go... I'm kind of sick of working on it as of now tho hahaha... but it still needs work, no exploding barrels yet tho... I'll get to them eventually, as well as some other stuff (like all the crap in the blue/green rooms that aren't there yet)

Yeah, I gotta figure out how to get 3DS Max 8 again tho... I kinda got in trouble with 'the man' the last time I grabbed it lol... so I guess I gotta stick with 9 'til I can grab 8 again... haha... (8 works better for starting out... 9 works better for refining)

But yeah, I dunno, sure they look ok when they're finished, but it's a mother-fvcker to get them that way, constantly tweaking map layers and detail layers... fvcking with lighting and positioning everything so that it looks right... it's a pain in the ass... but the final products are nice

No lighting yet...obviously...


I just resized the map so that it'd be 'to scale'... still lots of work left...argg...

*edit...* looks like some shit got fvcked up in the re-sizing process... grrrr... back to tweaking )*@#$$#)*Y Map modeling...
