Nice shiz Grim! The render is perfect for the background and the whole sig flows very well indeed! I cant really say anything else because I know nothing about graphics! Not too bad for a guy who can only work with one arm at the momment Keep it up man and get well soon

blur creates a sense of movement from a still form, blur also helps create depth from a 2d image, i also like to flood my tags with brightness to make a viewer look harder and notice particular subtleties, thanks for your comments guys !

great explanation Grim.. unfortunately some of these guys only look for colors, bg's and renders in sigs. the blur seems to play as a line towards the focal which would be Jet Lee, great piece man.
