render resizing

i just started working with photoshop more and when ever i get a render, the out come is always way to big. do i have to resize it before i do any editing?

Get your render, press CTRL+T and hold shift while resizeing.

When ever you get your render copy n' paste it onto the document, then press Ctrl+T in order to move/resize your picture.
