how is this technically going to work? my suggestion.
we have a .psd called gvworm.psd first person creates their box and flattens image. saves as .jpeg and .psd. second person gets the psd, widens the canvas and creates his on layers above, flattens image, saves as psd. and .jpeg. first post keeps getting updated with the current .jpeg while the psd gets passed on from person to person.
