Self Portrait

Something I had to do for class. Now you all know what I look like, sort of. Keep in mind this is my first ever self portrait, so I know its not the best out there.

the hair and the eyes are really well done, the only thing i dont like are the smudges on the face GJ

Give us something to compare it to. Post a pic of your real self. That way we can tell how horrible your drawing is.

Thanks. A lot of the smudges are from my hand being dirty and not caring enough to go back and erase them, lol.

Theres the original, the picture was from my senior year two years ago.

i just noticed but the nose is not to well defined, if you can id make it more *insert proper adjective* so it stands out a bit more.

and you made you face wider in the picture than what it really is, your glasses are also more oval shapped than square, i dunno if youve gotten new frames so you just incorporated that into your self portrait or not.

Yeah, the jawline does need some work now that you mention it. The glasses I redrew a few time but couldn't get to look very good in the oval form, so I just made them square to be lazy. I'll be sure to keep the nose thing in mind for future drawings, thanks for the input, but now, its off to the zoo to draw some animals for class.

Work on your anatomany(sp?) also the nose and the mouth arn't very good. Nice job on the hair though good for a first time portrait.
