That looks really good. I'm impressed, you've grabbed onto Photoshop friggin' solid in your short time using the program. Keep up the good work! I'm not one to drop-shaddow my boxes either...mostly because they're all on the same layer...and I like to keep my renders in 1 piece
But my suggestion would be to delete the background layer... and then when you save the image, go to "save for web"... so that the image saves as a .gif and not a .jpg. This will get rid of your white background, so the image's true background will take on the background of whatever you post it on (like mine)
