tis ok, I just don't like the font used for the G V, I"m not sure though... anyone else?

I just wanted it to be simple. I do have a bucket of other, more custom fonts, if thats whats needed.

I think the whole header needs to be redone if you're going to make a new logo.

It looks ok, but is that supposed to be a vhs tape behind the GV? I don know, I like the font stuff, but the tape IMO is throwing me off.

Meh. Its pretty hard to make a VHS from scratch :P

I think that the only way to make a cool logo is to incorporate stuff like the banner as well. If you wanna try your hand at making a new banner here is the thread about it.

I personally don't like our banner anymore. I intend to change it considerably soon. Just part of the ongoing process to make this site sweeter

... more on that this weekend.....

It's ok, but too simple. I agree with the above people. You need to make a banner first that's tight, then move onto the logo. Not the other way around. The second one looks better than the first, although I'd tilt it the other way so it could be placed in the upper left of a banner.
