First sig!

Hey ive only just got photoshop and figured out how to do some stuff. I know its pretty basic but it is my first attempt at makin a sig. Let me know what you think and any tips to improve it:

I think you have the right idea there. I like it for your experience level, i.e. just recently getting the program.

your font is very plain. try mixing that up. most people under-estimate the importance of the font in the sig. i like how it looks like its coming out of the gun, but you should do something with it.

hide all the layers other than the font, and use a ripple effect on them. then if you maybe a gradient. this will look like the shockwaves coming out from the gun, and the light>dark gradient will look like the letters are the bullet.

that is a lot more advanced technique, but give it a shot. pun intended ;]

just play with things. if you dont know what an effect does, use it. that's why there is the undo button. just have some fun.
