HALO: Fatal Design part 1

Ok, let me start off by letting you know who I am. If you guys know 2k, which you probly do. I guess you could say I'm the one the runs the site, but the site doesn't really "run" anymore.

(You can skip all this crap and just d/l the vid if you want, link at the bottom)

So, you kinda know who I am now, lets get started on my video Fatal Design (I refer to it as FD a lot because i'm lazy) There's a lot of story history behind the video. I 1st started coming up with ideas for the video more than 6 monthes ago at the site bloodgulch.com (which no longer exists

). Its basicaly about the HALO story line, starting from HALO one, and eventually working its way through halo 2 and maybe even halo 3. the "part 1" is because there's so much to pack into a video, I need to break it down into smallers parts so i don't end up with a 30+ minute video. It wasn't untill about 6 monthes ago, I started capturing footage and putting it togeather. So yes, I have been working on this video for 6 monthes. thats really I'll bore you with for now, if you want more info on it just ask (such as how I got the name)

Its pretty lenghty and clocks in at 7 minutes and 30 seconds, and being DVD quality the size is a whopping 115 mbs. there's no songs from mainstream bands, so if your into halo and its campaign, then you really shouldn't pass this video up. If I get to many complains I can make a smaller lower res/qual version for you 56kers. ok enough talk, here's the vid.

Fatal Design part one (115mb direct link) I spent a lot of time and hard work on this, i hope you all enjoy it.

no replys huh? makes me think the size is to big, and no one is even d/ling it. Well I didn't really want to but here's a windows media player version which is about 25mbs smaller, with the sacrafice of some quality (not too much i promis)

i know the start is a bit boring, but stick through it, and you probly wont be disapointed. If someone could just throw some kind of comments out here for me it would be great, its all i'm looking for.

Very, Very, Sexy. No need for the shortened version, your server is fast as. That was an extremely good gameplay/montage with some awsome editing thrown in to. all the songs worked well and provided the right length of time between each new cut. Extremely good. im glad that was only part one because im looking forward to more.

Superb, and its good to hear you put a lot of months into this it really paid off.

love the bloober banshee at the end, lol "hes stealing my ride b!@#$"

When I downloaded the vid, it just hung up and never played w/ the orginial vid

Thanks for the comments, its a change up from all the arguing I've been seeing here. Glad you liked it.

This is just the 1st part of many to come, its going to take a long time but I'll get it all done eventually. HALO 3 will probly be out by the time I get to HALO 2

very very nice, i really enjoyed that, that was sik! i can honestly say i cant wait for the other parts and its nice to know someone is puttin so much effort into a video for us all, i appreciate it, good work mate

Yeah, going into this project I told myeself I wouldn't give myself any deadlines, and would take my time. Well I took A LOT of time, and got this. i probly could have done it faster without any loss of quality editing, but that would have been breaking my own rule

no problem, just make sure you take as much time as you need with the other parts to make it as good as it possibly can be
