MLG pro circuit POV BR things?!? - 11-23-2006, 04:28 PM

I was watching that MLG pro circuit thing on TV and the Ogres and Defy when they're sniping of just walking they always twirl their crosshairs and I was trying to find out what was the point or if it's just a habit.

h1 pros used to do that to recalibrate their aiming because sometimes it would stray off...now its just an h2 habit.

its a duke controller thing

but it caught on and i think alota people do it in different ways now....for me its a wake up kinda, for my fingers...just to get them loose and going....but for me its a whole bxrdubbshot combination thing with a little rumble...

its not comepletely useless. like when i first turn on my xbox, my controller sticks are all outta whack, so i do a couple crosshair roll's to get them recalibrated.

I think it's probably something they started doing in Halo CE.

Duke controllers thumbsticks get stuck, so people who were pro in H1, like the ogres and the Saiyans who still use Duke controllers are used to spinning there thumbstick to recallorbrate the thumbstick so there aim is not off. I use it, because sometimes I will not see someone but if i am spinning my aimor in a circle if it turns red I notice someone is around.
