Is it just me, or does it seem when FB wins they dominate Carbon, but when Carbon wins, they just barely win? This excludes warlock flag of course, FB get destroyed on warlock flag.

I noticed this a lot while there. It'll be interesting to see how the 2 teams pair up this season. With all the other changes it could be anyones game. Personally, I think the 1st event CbN will win... but after that... FB will be able to fine-tune their teamwork and strats and take back the crown.

I think the best thing FB can do is not run their "4 down" strat they always have done. I think with strongside on the team they will be so strong slaying, that they can slay while running objective, where with Saiyan they killed then got objective and ran.

I cant wait to witness the first 07 event in person!!!

Yea, they need to adopt a more aggressive strat if theyre going to take down CbN.

As for being at the event in person. NY was unreal. Watching that series was one of the most fun things Ive seen in person. I cant wait to do it again.

umm... haha. I think a lot of people are overrating the new FB and underrating the new Str8. Even though my vote might seem to be biased (due to the fact that im pretty good friends with one of the members in Str8) i actually truely believe they have some great players that could get them some 1st or 2nd place finishes. Naded and Legit could outplay CbN (like they did in Chicago 06), where Str8 couldnt. Str8 could outplay FB sometimes, where SV couldnt. So with that combined?

Honest opinion about Str8. The strongest members of SV's team last season joined the weakest members of Str8's 06 team. Foulacy gets outplayed almost every single game, I find it funny that people were calling for Saiyan's head but not Foulacy... Foulacy will have to be carried for them to take 2nd even once this season. T2 is a smart player and sometimes because of that he has huge games, most the time though his huge games come on maps where he controls the power weapons, his br is as weak of a br as there is out of all the top 8 teams, removing BC and adding in another midship gametype hurts T2, because he tends to choke on smaller arena style maps, because his Br just looks terrible sometimes.

Naded and Legit have the skill to break top 2 but I think they are at best the 4th best team on the circuit this year, I find it hard to believe they can outskill DX, even if legit and naded are better then Anarchy and Nick (which I believe they are) they are not strong enough as a team to beat Fonzi no matter who they pick up as there 4th.

I think you take the 3 most emotional players in MLG (T2,Naded,Legit) and place them on one team you are going to have a really streaky team, if things start to go in there favor I can see them just pooping on other teams, but the more realistic outcome will be something going wrong, and the entire series and tournament snowballing on them and turning into one big disaster after another. I could see them taking 3rd some and even possibly falling out of the top 6 at several tournaments. I think the XiT lineup is not as strong in skill but better due to chemistry and emotions, again that is a biased view from me.

07 should be really fun.

Worst team of the top 8 imo is a toss up between Legendz and Red Carpet Treatment.

We'll see QUINN. T2 actually doesn't have a bad BR. I've actually talked to Brian about how he gets criticised as a weapon whore and people think he has a bad br due to the fact that he (like killer n) controls weapons very well...

He said : "sorry to say that they are wrong, T2 actually has a really good br"

I find it hard to believe he does too, he's been a pro since the start of MLG really. And power weapons didnt carry him THAT far.

A lot of good points there... though I dont necessarily see Legit as one of the Top 3 emotional players. Definately T2 and Naded. If anything goes wrong for them you can be certain those 2 will crumble. And you cant play 2v4 and get top 4 at events. Not with how strong teams are these days.

Ive watched plenty of T2 on VoD. Hes an EXTREMELY smart player. And THAT is why he has made it this far (coupled with his weapon whoring). But of the top 4 teams... he probably has the weakest BR. Its not 'bad'... but compared to other players in the top 4 teams it is.
