The only rule they have that is half decent is:
3. No Derogatory or Suggestive Words/Meanings

Like, who wants to see someone named Raaaaaaaaape or SmachAB1Tch or some dumb shit like that. FFS people can't come up with decent names.

It's all business.

The major sponsors that are providing the funds for MLG to run these events don't want other companies to get the publicity for sponsoring a team for $2,000 while they themselves are contributing millions.

They're also trying to make it as proffesional as possible and really attack the mainstream markets.

While gay, it's a good move on their part.

I just went on MLGPro.com and it turns out that if there are anykind of swears in any of the names or teams they will not be allowed including.

Such names as: Team Identity
Team assiment
ect.

If it's the actual spelling of the word, I don't see why it would be a problem. If they actually do it like that, then they are just going overboard.

Great point and they are just taking over, with all of this and people continue to buy and play, they can do what they want.

Regardless of its a good move, it is a stupid move and ridiculous. Not to mention when MLG made the pro's put MLG in front of their name.... at WSVG
