The term "try hard"

Alright..ive always had a problem with the term "try-hard"...i was playin gunna 1v1 on lockout...and since i was winning i was called a "try-hard"...wtf do u want from me?...just to walk up to you...start tea bagging the ground and just stand there and let you shoot me??...ok i dont wanna single gunna out because ive never had a problem with him really...just in general..if your going to be pissed off at someone just cuz their trying to win on a COMPETITIVE VIDEO GAME..then dont bother playing..wats the point of playing if your not going to try?..****in rediculous

Anyways, you can't avoid being called either a try hard or a bad kid(wait, that still isn't offensive) on xbl because kids are, well, not very bright to say the least. The only time I somewhat make fun of people is if my entire team quits out, then they continue to talk shit when it's 4v1. I mean, honestly, do they really think I'm going to be trying to win? Then they talk smack at the end of the game, and I just end up being confused, and I don't know what to think about it so I post a story about it in a thread on GV a few weeks after it happened.

There are times to try, and times not to try.

The only time you DON'T try is when you clearly say that your not going to be trying.

If you play a 1v1 or a 4v4 to win, and you say your loosing because the other guys are try hards.. why not just say "I'm loosing because I suck deer testicles and need a damn excuse to feel better about myself"

I enjoy playing a non-serious 1v1, but I clearly state "I'm just gonna try and stick u cross map, or Im only gonna dub shot with no beatdowns"

If it's a tourney, or if it's a game where the object is to win, ofcourse people are going to try. If you don't want people to try, stay out of tournaments, and clearly states "lets fool around"

So does everyone else, don't join a tournament and expect others to try and fool around with you, If you want to fool around, play some games that you clearly state you just want to fool around.

I mean I do try when I play...I fell it makes my shot and my skills better, but there are times when I'm not "trying which means you kinda run around and shot w/e. But I've never called people "try-hards"
