Scroll down to the middle of the page (above the pic of Banshee & Pelican) and there is something about an option in Halo 3's Main Menu. The option is called "Forge".

Now remembering Marathon there was a map editor ands its name was Forge... so I looked more into it and found these websites...

I'm SO HAPPY about this. I was worried about Halo 3 not being MLG-friendly, but it will be the most MLG-friendly game ever! MLG can now design their own perfectly balanced maps, perfect for LAN competition! I'm breathing a HUGE sigh of relief right now.

Think about the possibilities! Special maps that are exclusive to GV members... and for when we get bored late at night, we can have maps made for hide and seek, zombies, and lava man! PWNZORAGE!!!!

Lets just hope this is the case, if it is then it is super thumbs up from me.

But... i would rather not get my hopes up at present, it would suck so much harder when release date rolls around and upon exploration of the Forge realising that it is not what we had hoped for. Although, with that being said, what else could it possibly be?

and yea gv exclusive maps would be cool, would be kinda hard to keep gv exclusive though id assume itd be like farcry, u can join people parties but u have to dl the maps first so unless we ONLY ever played those maps with gv'ers....lol neeeways

i never thought of specially made maps for the for fun custom games like lavaman, or tremors!!!!

i havent played tremors in awhile

make a map kinda like the actual movie<3

Yea, as cool as this is, unless it's confirmed by bungie I really don't want to get my hopes up just to get them shot down. But if it is in the game, that would be sick.
