Well many of you have seen Ephrum's long post about H2 tages and well I have seen a lot of bad H3 tages. And they are just frustrating to watch because they think since it is a new game new rules apply to this game no. If anything it has just raised the bar (cingular FTL , Verizon FTW).
One thing that I hate seeing is kills with the Shotgun it just angers me to watch it. Unless you have an across the map stick then just straight up shotty someone and the BR someone for the triple that is allright for me but a lonely triple kill with the shotty is just bad. Also an update has been made that you only need to hit someone once with the ball and they will die unlike H2 where you have to jump and hit someone to get a one hit kill. So what I am tryin to say to this is that double kills with the ball isn't enough for you to say ZOMG PWNT. No that isnt good enough Killtac or higher sounds pretty good even a triple is allright. Now the spartan laser. Everyone wants to show off the spartan laser so they will take any clips such as single laser clips. The only single laser clip that I would take is one more than 3/4 of the way across the map and when not scoped in. Or Multikills with your laser or even a spree of like 9 or ten and you have it sped up and when it says killing frenzy you slow it down just to add a cool and dramatic effect. To the sniper. I think a lot of people could tell that it became easier to snipe and no scoping was just so easy. So if you get a no scope from 5 feet away believe me it isnt that nice because it happens all the time. It would be acceptable if it was a no scope out of a mongoose and then you stuck someone or anything of that nature. The scopes I would choose would be the ones when they are jumping down off the bridge on High ground and your at sniper spawn and you just aim and take his head off that is okay. Remember that this is a totally different game from H2 so you cant exactly use the same editing techniques. So just find new ones and make it work. Also when it comes to throwing plasmas you have another chance to make this game your own. Try new launches do things people will never think of AKA the montage Calamity. They were the first to have spwan sticks... One thing i do notice is that people often take advantage of the new feature of saving your games and then recording them. Im not sayin it is bad but it looks so much better if it is live and that is just something that can spice up your montage and looks really cool IMO. Well this is bound to change when the full game comes out and if you have any opinions I will add them With love, 8 |

idk you did say a lot that fits in but I don't think I would honestly care. The spartan laser is sweet but a spree of it? Gets a lil old. I agree with the shotgun kills way easy now, same with ball. The one I don't is the sniper. Noscopes are the same if not more difficult not easier. The fact they are 5 feet away is because there is no skill in that close of a shot. Its still hard but your right doesn't deserve it that much but still is deserving.
The one that I think you left out is sticks. I honestly belive most sticks should end up in tages for h3 beucase it is that much harder to stick someone, even more witht he brute spiker. But GP's

umhm wrong, definently can't be right when what we are going on is personal opinions and skill levels so until I get full proof saying from bungie they made close range sniping easier ill go with my opinion thanks though blades

Why and in what way is H3 sticking harder? (I havent played H3 yet so im asking out of pure curiosity)

It's not necessarily harder per se, but chief throws all the grenades in different ways. Example. He throws the plasma grenade farther than both the frag and the brute spike grenade. And all the grenades follow their own trajectory arcs because they have different masses now, so a plasma will be a little more "floaty" where the spike grenade tends to fall quickly like a brick in water.
