H2 Gamebattles?

So yea the thread topic pretty much says it. I am anxiously waiting to hear if MLG will keep h2 around next season. I have the feeling they will because I do think they are keeping so quiet on h3 because they do not like the game. So with that said my brother and I are starting an h2 gamebattles team with bonesawww i haven't talked to blades, so if he wants to do it he will be our main 4th, but we are looking for more people for the team let me know

1000000% Halo 3 next season. That's from many, many people at Vegas.

What is currently up for question is whether or not to keep H2 as an exhibition tournament like they did with H1 in '05.

No doubt h3 is on the circuit not what i meant to imply at all. But H3 is easy, everyone can and is good at the game, it takes no thinking you take away the melee and nade system and simply made a game about shooting and camping I hate it. I am much better(if you can say that) at h3 but its so easy that i dont feel rewarded its just so easy.

Beating pacmayne by 10 today with ease (the guy everyone on mlg says is without a doubt the best h3 player currently) just proves my point

I hope to god MLG keeps both titles I know plenty of good players who hate H3. I know H2 could hold its own at mlg even if it was the smaller title

I am up for this...

My slight problem is that..

I am getting a 360 shortly (around the same time as my birthday, oct 28th)

So I will be canceling my xblive some time before then... hopefully I will have it AT my birthday, or sooner. Hopefully if those aren't the cases not much later.

So there is a possibility of me not having live for like a week max... which hopefully wouldn't be a problem.

I haven't lost to Pacmayne yet. People used to say that Sickle 9 and Sadpanda Eh were the best H2 players alive, which never came close to fact.

Halo 2 was easy too when nobody really knew what they were doing and just ended up camping. The game just came out and still needs time to settle.

Agreed, but when h2 came out there were people who stright up shit on me thta does not happen in h2 ever. I lose not to say I dont but i never ever see anyone that wows me, I am yet to see anyone impressive yet. When I lose I firmly believe its luck.

Also H3 has so many things that I dont think can be fixed, lack of touch return, the new bomb planting system, the spawn system (I could go on for days about this problem) The melee system.

If h3 gets better maps and turns out out to be good I will take it serious. Right now I want to go back to loving the better of the last 2 halo games, I will still play h3 some probably every day, but h3 is no where near what I was hoping for

I don't like the spawn or melee system either. People don't shit on you like they did when Halo 2 came out because you are, in relation to everyone else, essentially where you were in relation to Halo 2. Most of what you learned carries over to Halo 3 and that goes for most people, except now there is nothing established as there was in halo 2 (after several months of course).

The bullshit factor in Halo 2 was much higher in my opinion.

And some people, about a million, play Halo 3 on XBL every day. Not to mention it out sold every other entertainment platform in the history of entertainment releases. Halo 3's popularity is what is going to drive MLG to the next level, just like Halo 2 boosted it up beyond what it was before that.
