I realize you're trying to help there dude.... but theres a reason we never posted a full tutorial.Because a lot of people use it to cheat, and though im sure your intentions are good, you shouldnt post such things.

Maybe an admin ormod can edit the post?

i don't mind when people bridge..... just as long as they don't cheat too. just because someone gets host doesn't mean that your going to loose. i never even used to pay attention to who got host until recently too. i might start doing it seeing as how i have an extra NIC laying around in my room

I agree... unfortunately, most people use it to cheat. Which is why I suggest the tutorial (which was very good) by Hugh Downs should be edited out.

Also, the more people that start bridging, the longer it will take for everyone to find games. and... if everyone starts bridging, then no one will find games, and halo 2 matchmaking will be dead.

what he said, does absolutely nothing in the way of setting up to force host. so im not going to edit it at all.

bridging a is a completely legit way of connecting to the internet and xbox live.

its using certain programs to abuse that connection method that cause cheating.

Ya, being bridged host is the only way to not be cheated. Once you get to 28 its recomended.
