Is kids like lil poison and all these other "pros" who have no life and play like 14 hours a day of halo 2, and they make more money than someone with an honest career and actually works hard then sitting in a chair and moving your thumbs.

no do not get me wrong at all, its not the aspect that they are good at the game, i like halo 2 and am not bad, but its these kids who make like 50,000 a year playing a video game (when they're "pro") and some adults who work their butts off and make like 20,000

Makeing $50,000 a year isnt that good halo2 would be a good hobie that you do on your spare time. Like work a job that pays alot . Then when you have off enter some tourneys..................

I agree somehwhat...these baseball players making $25 million( AKA A-Rod) are making more money than doctors/firemen/etc. that save people's lives...
 It was kinda in relation to the topic

yeah i agree with that, why do sportsmen/women get paid super amounts of money for doin somethin they enjoy when doctors/nurses/firemen etc have a shitty wage and they save peoples lives........

Ya its pretty crazy but video games are truning into sports. They win money from sponsors and tournament money. If you go to 60Minutes.com or CBS....dammit I forgot but I saw a video of the gamer Fatal1ty. He has won ALOT of money and hes also the world's best gamer, literally!!!! Its a cool interview, he plays alot of games and stuff but how else are going to compete against other plays, by playing ALOT. Anyway watch the video if you can, you'll see what I'm talking about. Google it if you want.
Right now I'm majoring in Animation so I say while we're all still young, go get a career that we many enjoy and make good money doing it and we won't care about these Halo Pro Players.
