anyways here is what i thought...

the first line Gods and Demons I think are metaphores for Covenant and Flood.

Second line means that Cortana will be his offense and Defense.

I think this is a sign that Cortana has finally gone rampant and thinks her self as a greater being that knows all.

This is the way the world ends. well depends on what definition she meant when she said world. It could be the end of the covenants world. Our world. Or both. It can go either way so i don't know.

Cinimatics:

In the back you can see it's the bridge from Zanzibar.
The sign on the floor is another sign that he is on Earth.
The trees in the background made it obvious that it WAS Africa.(those trees are all over the place their)
now comes the thing in the middle...

I think it can be one of many thing, maybe it is the ship he came in on. The burnt edges of the cliff side meant it wasn't DUG out.(maybe by their type of digging but i doubt it.) The rift in the sky i think meant it had either already launched a similiar beam like we saw or, that it was the rift from the place where the structure crashed.(or planted itself as the "key" to the mysterious structure that is always talked about in Halo 2.(the name slips my mind)

And one last thing...

WTF IS MC DOING WITH AN ASSAULT RIFLE!!!!
