Halo vs. Ut2K4 - 08-13-2005, 03:46 PM
I'm not even sure if this message is going to appear but nonetheless, I will skip to the point. Being an avid fan of both Halo1, Halo2, and Unreal Tournament 2004, I couldn't help but notice how similar they are. My brother and I are constantly having arguments about the different amounts of skill required to play Unreal and Halo. He sais that Halo2 isn't even hard (except for the sticks). He believes that it is way harder to snipe on Unreal and that any Halo2 player would get owned by a comp play that played Unreal. I was curious as to what other people thought on this topic. Make a post...and lets get these forums going.

I used to play unreal championship a ton when xbl first launched. I was in clan DRC. I think it almost required more skill to win in Unreal then in halo, because it's so much more fast paced. I used to use the guys wih 70 health that sucked from others when you shot em.
I don't know about unreal 2004 though |

yes this is a big arguement that my friend and i have he loves UT2004 because he has a highend pc that can run it. I prefer halo and halo2 over UT becasue all u need is a simple $150 xbox or a good comp to run halo CE yes i agree halo 2 is easier than UT2004 their are a lot of similar things about each one i dont want to go in to that but if uve played both games u will know wat they are. UT is better in wat is avalable to the player their are hunders of maps and alot of wepons and vehicles and it is very fast pace but the skill that must b used to use all to this stuff effcantly is k9inda off but if i was good enough at the game i would be voteing on UT2004.

Actually, to tell you the truth, Halo CE is more demanding on a PC than UT2004. Don't ask me why. But on my old comp, I had to run halo ce at 800x600 high settings, but I could run UT2004 at 1024x768 high settings. It was surprising to me too lol.
