What controller settings do you use for Halo? - Page 2

haha. I can't believe some of you play on 5s and lower. I can't play on anything lower than an 8. (I actually get called a sensitvity whore all the time.)

"sens whore" makes no sense to me. i guess they have whores for everything now... I used to be as high as 10 at one point, but then wanted to snipe more, and now i play at 5.

Thumbstick Layout: Default
Button Layout: Default
Look Sensitivity: 5-6
Look Inversion: Non-inverted
Auto Look Centering: Disabled
Controller Vibration: **

**this is the weird part. I can never decide between enabled and disabled. Disabled has advantages like aim and concentration, but if im "in the zone" its hard to react because you arent relying on vibration to tell when you're getting shot...

Is disabling the controller vibration steady your aim or something? I dont see exactly how it would help.

Well, I played Halo:CE at 10, and the first couple months of Halo2 at 10 sensitivity. But, the difference between Halo:CE and Halo2 is that Halo2 sucks ass. So, in turn, I had to turn down the sensitivity to be able to use the BR effciently. I still think I might turn it down to 4 here pretty soon.
