Halo 3, do you think....

When Halo 2 came out it was so much d1fferent to halo 1, now less than a year to halo 3, do you think it will be much different to halo 2.

To be honest, my opinion as i hope that it stays as near to as halo 2 as possible. I didnt get into fps until halo 2 came out and im pretty much addicted. I want some things chanegd such as map balance, i hate on ivory tower or any map when a whole team get rockets, sniper, sword and noob. I now a lot of people will be like wtf, but i dont really like halo 1 to much. Its nhot thats its a bd game, its just after playing halo 2 so much theres so much of a difference i just cant get into halo 1.

I don't want nearly as much aim-assist. Its dumb. Anyone can get a lucky ass headshot now.

Also, less than a year away? Highly unlikely. Nobody knows the release date.Don't believe the crap on ebgames.com either. They just make up release dates to get pre-orders.

Bungie have said that it will be released around the same time as ps3. I think it will probarbly be realeased around spring.

i hope halo 3 goes back to be more like halo 1, dont get me wrong halo 2 kicks ass but the auto aim on it is wat makes it kinda gay

if its released around the spring then it wont be that good its to early to release a game even tho bungie has more then doubled its staff which would make it much more easier to make then it did for Halo and halo 2

But can you imagine how bad it would be if it were taking off especially when you're not host? I think I could still play probably, but thats the only reason they increased it.

I'm seriously renting halo 3 first, i'm not even going to buy it, i'm sorry to everyone who likes halo 2 so much but in my opinion it sucks, they didn't plan the online play very well, the game still isn't meant for anything but lan, you have to be host to not lag and get gliches like missed shots or granades not killing someone or sticky's going through the body or sniping someone in the ****ing head and it going straight through. it's a good game system link, online it's crap. there's no skill in any weapon except a br and sticky's (untill they changed the patch now you can kill someone without stiking them no skill) the auto aim is rediculously noobish they turned halo 2 into a game for noobs, they totally ****ed everything up in the new patch the older patch was better i liked granades the way they were, the sticky's are to strong, and the granades need to be a little bit stronger, the leveling system is shit, not that i should complain about it cuz i stopped playing when the second patch came out and i was a level 33 and then dropped to a level 31 from hackers, the new maps that came out are garbage, except for like 2 of them, and i already heard about half the shit they might be putting in halo 3 like the alien shield, and a flamethrower, and a combat knife, and god know's what else, but it's going to be ****ing stupid and rediculous if they do. i don't think they can ever top halo 1, thats why halo 1 is so good, everytime you make a 2nd or 3rd sequel to any first person shooter or continue after that they always suck ass, it happened to james bond franchise, unreal championship, timesplitters, doom, duke nukem, even counter strike, and bungie isn't listening to anyone or any of the people they do what they want and what they like and thats why halo 2 sucks so bad. sorry but it does and anyone who was good at halo 1 or loves halo 1 would agree with me.

All I hope is that it doens't get rushed like Halo 2. Halo 2 could have been one of the best games ever. But, MS said it had to be out for the holiday season. It got rushed. As a result, the single player sucked, and the MP had tons of glitches that could have been fixed eaily if they had a longer testing period. Personally, I hope it doesn't come out until at least Fall 2006.

I understand the aim-assist to help with latency, but if there is a laggy game, and I can still jump, do a 180, zoom in, fire after my reticule is way past the enemys head, and get the headshot. Thats just STUPID.
