Ive heard this everywhere, but now im hearing alot more. Does having host matter in LAN, and why? I dont know anything about this. Please help.

its nowhere near as big of a difference, but there is host on lan.... basically, br and shotgun shots hit a little better on lan if your host

LAN meens every one's host right? I think that everyone has "host" capabilities like on XBL.

ya....i play lan a lot, and sometimes u can tell that the other person has host....even though it is a very small advantage

well bc i was reading this article about karma being the best player, and he said that he wouldnt be if he didnt have host. So i guess, it matters but not as much.

From what i've heard i think host can be just the advantage you need to win on LAN. It is totally different on XBL though

Ok I think if you do system link through any sort of router or something like that there isn't. But I have played at small LANs where we only have 2 boxs and we just use a single cable. When we do that its always one box or the other that gets host (it shows when we hold back at start).

Good example is watch how FB sets up CTF on middy when Saiyan is host. They let him pwnzor the noobs with that poop.
