A note to those who watch it: At the end, it says there are going to be some extended credits. Well, I lied. But there will be something else coming in the not-so-far-away future. Until then, a few things need to be said. 1. Thank you to Kool Aid for the GFX work. (The symbols.) Tanker for the Anti-Freeze and Jack Daniels Bottle. 2. Thanks to all the actors that helped. (Ceronus, Cursed Lemon, etc etc.) 3. The songs used in order: Power Rangers Theme Song Stayin' Alive - The Sleeping Hollaback Girl - Gwen Stefani Song 2 - Blur Go Go - B44 |

Saw this over at H3F, was pretty good, the only part I really laughed about was the Elite dancing or something, he looks like a retard with his head up in the air (running to ~head up~)
I liked it, but I don't like how everyones clips are put together, instead of having them separated, I never really noticed whose clip it was. yours,

Only part I laughed at was when that elite was running the flag on Beaver Creek. That was funny. It was "ok", I thought I was going to enjoy it more but...pretty "meh" for me.

Great montage! Best one I have seen. I actaully enjoyed the male version of staying alive. VERY VERY VERY Entertaining. Best montage I have seen ever. I had a idea of making a montage using a TV theme but you beat me to it. :P You did a great job. Hope you make something again like this soon...

This is the review I posted in H2F
So here I am on H2F checking what new videos have made surfaced and I see “The Dead Serious Tage” I thought to myself, my goodness, it’s a calling. It’s a sign that some did something I’ll enjoy. But then I thought about it a little and that the title sounded very cliché and sarcastic so I abandoned my plans of watching it. Then a couple of people (literally) to me to actually watch it and so I did. WARNING MESSAGE It started off with a warning message which in itself is nothing original or special. But I heard voices! I told myself, am I dreaming or is someone doing something I haven’t seen before? That little voice was suddenly disturbed with a giggle and I thought to myself, “Oh my god, this guy is annoying, I want to hear the warning!” And then, as if a mercurial force answered my cry for help, that numbskull got shot along with his friend. Unfortunately I did not concentrate on the warning as much which would be attributed to over editing. But, there was not a valuable message to hide. The power Rangers and all served merely as an extra little eye candy of smiling that accompanied the main laughs; the guys getting shot. In other words, that 40 sec or so shot was comical and set the basis that this movie is in fact the very contrary of a “serious” video. Well done. INTRO Usually, I always look for purpose. Intro’s cinematic shots must be related to the content and while those had no apparent relation, their connection was not physical, it was more of a situation relation. The guy shooting at the wall and it ricochets only to kill him was a funny way to present the player and furthered the basis that “This is your last chance, if you are looking for an MLG driven video, look somewhere else” And holy crap did that power ranger song bring back memories and was comical to see them running in coagulation. More satire, uncompounded comedy, therefore very connected to the video Then, you saw our intrepid trio throw plasma grenades in lockout and running over them. The problem is that, these things are funny if they are intentional and if you will stage them, make them believable because as it stands, it was very predictable and seemed very planned indeed. I know editing effects weren’t important but don’t put presets. That’s a reality in any kind of video. GAMEPLAY Right before “Stayin Alive”, a clip of 2 guys talking about Ice. Why? No reason, just random comical things to start off the vid. Depending on one’s sense of humor, you may find it hilarious, you may not. It didn’t do much for me but I understood its purpose. As it goes on, you used unusual music and even the last song brought me back because it was very old and I remembered it from when I was young ![]() Gameplay was enjoyable to the fact that it was funny when it came to betrayals and all those things and it just furthered proved that H2 on XBL is ****ed lol The idea of putting the symbol instead of the name was original but not everything original is good. I had completely forgot who had what symbol so I never knew who’s gameplay I was watching. The part where he is flipping through channels, the one time where you could put a TV simulator effect and you could get away with it, you didn’t lol. A TV simulator would’ve been a nice touch. The random skits’ comedy factor depends from one person to another. I reckon the decision of putting those in was in contrast to your target audience. I haven’t read much feedback from other members so I can’t tell. CREDITS Bringing back a section of the intro is fine, bringing back most or the entire intro is unoriginal. So I didn’t care much about the credits and it was a bad way of saying good bye. Overall, it was fun, brought back some good ol memories. Had some problems here and there but beyond that it was enjoyable. The main thing though was that it didn’t present anything significantly new to the movie scene. Still good job.
