Thanks a lot everyone, I really appreciate all of your feedback. And TrueSource, I have Vegas 5, but it doesn't read my captured footage. It needs a plug in which I don't know how to get.

This is what it says. So, I guess I need an .mpeg plug-in. I'll try and register it, but....I downloaded it so.......we'll see.

EDIT 2: Can't get it to work. The site recognizes that it hasn't been purchased.

My fault, I had that same problem, but I usually put .AVI in vegas, better quality in the .wmv outcome

go to windows.com and pick up windows movie maker 2, it should fix your problem if you download it over your bad windows media player...

hopefully, i had problems with my windows media player, back in highschool extra credit movie making days, but just dnled wmm2 over it and problem was solved...
