I really wish people with smaller sized videos would stop using such ridiculious hosting sites, such as Filefront...and whatever that other one is...
General rules for hosting videos that should be followed (unless the person has their own server).. 25mb or less - PUTFILE --- http://www.putfile.com/ 50mb or less - Mythica.org --- http://useruploads.mythica.org/ Filefront, and whatever that other one is are good for HUGE video files...such as full montages...or game-plays. But there's just not really any reason to use them if the video can be hosted much more easily on another site. I'm DLing the video now...I'll edit this when I'm done watching... *edit* Some good plays in there... I dunno, the video was just sort of boring to me, no offense. I think that very few rap songs work well in montages... and that one didn't really do anything for me. There were lots of good BXR's and multi's, I really liked the self-stick suicide, I thought it was funny... but for the future. Ease up on the clip transitions. The first 8 clips all had different transitions thrown between them. As a general 'rule of thumb'... I'd say quick cross fades work best... or no transition if the song is faster-paced. Only use special transitions when they're appropriate for the song... like if a transition lands on a good sync-point with your song. When I first started editing, I thought that I had to use every transition available to me, to keep people intrested... but I've really come to like the simple cross-fades. They don't take away anything from the game play... they just really help blend one clip into another.

+ / - format
+ some nice killtacs + synced + far sticks + overall good gameplay =========== - transitions got a little annoying... wasn't that bad though - started off like blah... take out the first ~30 seconds - training, I don't care... others do - I doubt it was, but 1 stick looked staged - quality could be better Overall pretty good but limited. Now record for more than 2 hours so you can avoid so many blah clips. I really had low expectations after the first few clips. Record for a month (or 6) or so and make something disgusting. If you really got 2 4v4 killtacs in 2 hours... wow. |

i agree with keeping transitions simple but I also picked them according to the lyrics... "roll", "open", and also according to the shape of the next clip (circle open for zoomed br) etc.

It was pretty good. Chucky, I'll have to agree with EphruM on this one. Filefront isn't bad, but the vid was a little too small to host on Filefront.
It was still good and I remember that stick on me. I jumped to avoid it....but I kinda failed...the thing that pisses me off sooo much about that stick was that I saw it coming ![]()

usually people put funny or odd clips at the end. If you didn't notice (which I can only assume you didn't) he stuck himself.
