Puppet will not let me and my teammate play because i dont have enough posts. i joined this site waiting for a tourney to start, it was one of the main reasons. i cant imagine him drawing a connection between how many posts i have, and whether or not i will complete my games. i dont think it is fair to exclude me from the tournament just because some people in the past didnt get their games played. do you all think it is fair to not let me and rage play?

If you're not aloud to join because of # of post's then people NOT from the site shouldn't be aloud to play either. That said...

xPuppet is a great tourney organizer tho so am assuming he has good reasons for who he does and doesn't allow to enter.

After the turn out of past tourneys yes I think its fair. The teams that have members not from this site, I sure have at least one fairly active member of GV on the team. Since you dont win anything respect is the only reasont to trust people will get there games in, so because your not active enough I think he has made a fair decision, its not my call but I do stand behind it.

Also, how can you say you joined this site waiting for a tourney like this to start? You joined in april of 07 the last tourney I remember GV doing before the latest 1v1 tourney was like september of 06 and it was a disastorous 4v4 tourney. So there is no way you even knew this site heled tournaments.

Just be more active and participate in the next tourney.

I watched Im Dyxlesic play in the 1v1 tourney and thought it would be fun to play in an organized tournament. that was when i decided to join. you can ask Dyxlesic, he'll tell you i probably play more than anyone on this site, and that if i was in the tournament, i would most definately get my games played and in.

Yeah i know, and i did PM him. all I'm saying is that it isnt fair to judge me and say that because i havent made a certain amount of posts, im not gonna play in my games. i know some people may not have in the past, but they arent me. you wont know that im not going to flake on a tournament if you dont let me show you that im willing to play.

All youre saying is that i need to make more posts to play? thats like asking someone to spam the site. all i want to do is play some halo in an organized, competetive tournament. i make posts on here when i see a topic i have something to say about, i dont get on here and spam or flame. would you rather i had joined the site and made a bunch of stupid, random posts?

I know its Puppets call, and i completely respect that. but i also think i deserve a chance. just because i havent gotten onto the site everyday and made a few posts, doesnt mean im any less dedicated to playing in the tournament

So Puppet, im not fighting with you or anything, im just asking that you please give me a chance, and let me show you that i will play my games and get them in on time.

Scott, I understand why you think it is unfair that puppet is very leary of letting you into this tournament, but I also understand why puppet is worried about letting someone into the tourney. I can't make a decison for puppet, but I can vouch for you and say that you are indeed very dedicated to this game; much more than I am and I was allowed into the 1v1 tournament. Puppet, I say let Scott (ender) into the tourney, give him a chance to prove himself a good member in the community. Scott, he does let you in, you better not make me look like an ass for posting this.

Haha thanks Mil. You know i wont let you down; i mean have i ever? Remember that time you had to crash at my house cuz you got kicked out? haha then you returned the favor when i got into that fight with my parents?

Ok so my final words on this, and i can stop bugging you all.

Puppet, i totally understand why you think letting me in may not be a good idea. however, i do believe i should be given a chance. it makes sense that you want people you know, people you trust not to screw over your tournament. but i also think that a good way for me to get to know you all and earn your respect would be by playing with you in this tournament. So i know it is ultimately up to you, but i would greatly appreciate the chance to play.
