I agree here also. And just like gunna my team has avoided the arguments between teams. I guess its time that we realize that vast majority of this community, is not mature enough to take part in threads that involve other people's opinions. Because the first time someone thinks they deserve to make someone's list they throw a fit if they dont make it. So lets not do any more of those threads, until GV grows up a little bit

I also think that if someone talks trash about another team on MSN/AIM that is fine, but it should not be carried over into a public forum. But things that happen in PM's or instant messenger's are private and should not be taken into account of the league

I am on the contrary to the not bringing AIM/MSN msgs to the forefront in anythng regarding to the league.

Why should people NOT be held responsible for things they say?

I'm not saying it should be posted in a seperate thread for everyone to see, but rather that it should be able to be PMed to one of the league officials and dealt with internally.

Also, maybe I will do it sometime later today.... but someone needs to post the real rules of MLG that way there is no question how it should be played.

The only real gametype this refers to is MLG CTF on any map. There are a number of ambiguities relevant to this gametype on any map.

In the past few months ive had many many people be unclear of the rules and criticize (sp?) me of ending the game too early or not ending it soon enough simply because they did now know the true interpretation of the rules.

Now, I have spoken in person to a few pro/semi-pro players as well as MLG staff to make sure I was 100% clear on the rules.

There should be NO QUESTION as to how the time/flag captures impact the game-ending scenarios.

@ Gunna - this is not directly pointed at you and our scrim the other night. ive had quite a number of other people be 'confused' about the rules. However, most of them were much more abrasive. You just asked for clarification and that is perfectly acceptable.

I know my team won't be and will never argue about whos better because we don't really care how good we are, Also PhaLanX it would be helpful if you did that because i need them on the xbox im using and can't be bothered to look on mlg pro.

Im glad that you guys have agreed with the whole arguing thing and I completely agree with Phalanx. Maybe we should have a warning system. 1 point is a warning and 2 points is a boot from the League for 2 or even more weeks and a ban from posting in the league section (The league will have its own forum....you will find out soon enough!)
