It got announced and it was my decision for that. He posted his montage weeks ago and it was terrible, even he knew that. He took the time to come back and make something decent. Regardless of his love for Goat, it was a decent montage minus the quality issues, which are excusable. Just keep this thread flame free. Not a bad montage Nick, make another.

+ some gameplay looked good, but really... there isn't much more to say
+ kinda cool to see a killionaire, even if it was a swat game

- almost no variety. no sticks, no double shots, no team, only a few maps used
- I wouldn't start a montage with a guest kill unless it's obvious its a rumble training montage
- virtually no editing, bad quality
- scoping in a no scope game
- too many pointless multis. Just because it's a killtac or frenzy doesn't mean it is a good montage clip
- too much messy sniping. If I'm watching a killtac in mass FFA snipes, it better all be headshots on non guests or really rape

I think your montage has two large gameplay problems. First of all, it's the same games OVER AND OVER AND OVER. Secondly, the quality of some of the footage is basically 'meh.' The montage would have been much more enjoyable if you used less mass FFA clips and more of something else. Obviously just use your better clips. Taking 7 shots for a killtac in FFA snipes with a guest isn't montage worthy. While mass FFA is comparable to my videos, mine have always had something else to offer. M3 had a billion no scopes and annoying editing. M4 had some top of the map sticks, a medal count and shotgun games (LOL). M5 had more top of the map sticks and some double shots (which NO ONE had in May 2006) and no scopes. M6 actually had team and a lot of stuff no one has ever done, mainly lucky ass sticks. So, this video is comparable to mine in that it does have unlimited mass FFAs, but my videos have always had something else to offer as well. I'm not necessarily saying 'go play MLG 4v4s or go get launch sticks in BTB' as you play for fun and therefore play whatever you want, but if you want to avoid criticism you need more variety in your video. After that you need to learn to edit and capture in better quality.

LOL at some of your game names. I don't know if that's sad or flattering. The credits were a complete jack of my last montage (hell, you even scoped and unscoped for a kill), but I don't care. I'd rather see that stuff in the credits than in the main video like some of the H3 tages have done.

Overall decent gameplay with lotsa multis, but got boring (predictable) because there was literally nothing else.

im not trying to flame im just saying i didnt like it too much it was so repetitively boring i would just say maybe some variety maybe some doubleshots or sticks or anything else

The multis were "big" but there were a lot of missed shots, and a lot of lame stolen kills. You should try and avoid 2-shot snipes and 6-shot BR kills. There was basically no editing, and if there was it was difficult to see because of the quality. I didn't like the music at all, but that's just a difference in musical taste.

You should show multikills that are not as... eh, "sloppy" as those... no missed shots, pointless nades, and completely jacked kills. As for the credits... no comment. All I will say is do your own thing, be original, and make sure you only put something in a montage if it really deserves to be there.



As for standards, this is what I will tell you I think (everyone has different opinions on what is "tage worthy" but here is basically what I say)...

- Never show 2-shot snipe kills unless they are part of a Torcity+
- Never EVER show a sniper kill that takes more than 3 shots, period
- Never show 6-shot BR kills unless they are part of a Frenzy+
- Never EVER show a BR kill that takes more than 6 shots, period
- Don't use footage from Mass Unlimited BR games unless it is a Killtac+
- Don't use footage from Mass Unlimited Snipe games unless it is a Frenzy+

I think that my standards (for this type of montage) are pretty low. If what you're going for is a "serious" (MLG) montage (which I highly doubt) then...

- Don't show non-MLG games
- Don't show unlimited games
- Don't show games with more than 8 players
- Don't obviously abuse host (cross-map BR kills)

The second set of standards are not really mine, more that of the general public. The first set of standards are more my personal opinion.

Ok I will give my opinion in a min when I have finished downloading. I can see some other people in this thread still have the whole perfect montage mindset. Oh dear, some won't learn will they?

Ok this is the first montage I have watched in about 2 months. I thought it kicked ass. This is exactly what a montage is supposed to be like, this guys best clips. So what if there are 2 shots, it's not like he is pro and lets face it everyone does it. The editing was fine and the song! I love that song, it brings back so many memories from the 90s

Overall I am gonna give this a 9/10...thanks for the great montage!
