your montage was sick man. I know alot of people here don't like rap but I love it and its GREAT to here something different in a montage than same old rock songs and shit. Your gameplay kicked ass but I do agree with Ephrum and PhaLanX that a little more editing and syncing would make this montage one of the best recent ones!!

amp im impressed, that was a really good solid montage, as a fan of rap i thought the music was great, the gameplay was great, the editin could of bin slightly better and the quality was a little off, but overall that was really really good, keep it up.....

Yeah... not sure if you got my point here or not on rap though. My point is that most people don't like rap in montages, just like how most don't like the stuff I use. However, if you edit to the beat it makes it more interesting. Rap has one more important advantage over trance/techno/house/dance/whatever where half the lyrics can relate to halo with guns firing and what not. If you can use those songs in a H2 montage it works really well. I still don't like rap, but I LOVED watching Shook's 3rd with the ying yang twins song and his editing. Having the killtac kill in a killtacular happen when you hear a gun fire, or hearing machine guns and seeing someone repeatedly get no scoped... it's cool to watch whether or not I like the song. Like Ephrum and Phalanx said, you don't need a thousand effects.. I don't think any of us use that stuff... but having basic a/v coordination or some minor effects isn't gonna detract from gameplay and will make your montage a lot better. I think all four of us agree that we don't want a thousand effects because that blocks out/hides gameplay.
