overall nice job - 06-20-2006, 09:12 PM

hey dude i just wanted to compliment your montage. there were a few things though. firstly it was a little bit blurry so maybe you should try recording on AVI and using that because i too use pinnacle and had trouble cus i captured in JPEG. Secondly i liked the fadeouts using the blackscreen though i felt you used it too much. Thirdly i would group together simmilar kills next time such as a bunch of sticks followed by a bunch of no scopes followed by a bunch of triple kills (very impressive the amount of triple kills and killtaculars). on the hole i enjoyed it those are just my few little tips. o and someoen told me when i made my first one that its better to play matchmade games such as slayer as opposed to custom games with snipers because then it seems more authentic. i dont neccesarily agree with this but i did try to play more matchmade games after. again good job i did enjoy.

i dont think you captured in JPEG.. that would be more like a flip book.. and a hell of a lot of pictures to put together to make a montage.. Im assuming you meant MPG or MPEG

any way very good job! i really liked the montage, good songs great editing and some sick stuff.. only thing i had a little problem with was going to the black screen after every clip during Incubus kinda made me dizzy.. but all in all amazing job

See, I dissagree, I would space out the type of footage...unless the clips went with the song, multikills back to back get stale, as well as sticks and no scopes, if you space them out...and you integrate them, it feels more 'whole'

This is something I didn't really do very well in my last one LOL. My advice is try to fit the clips to the song and hope that it's spaced out enough. Although, I'm not totally for or against one method. I really liked Titan's 4th montage on H2F with all the sticks at the start. Not the most impressive gameplay out there, but fun to watch with the editing. I have no idea why I liked that and not the Halogod's 3rd as it was basically the same thing. Basically, I have no conclusion here. I used (repeat) sticks as a generic example.

Blades... the saem thing happened to me yesterday with the clip (the shotgun beat down clip) a guy lunged at me with the sword but i shot him with a shotty and i killed him with the shotty and he beat me down... what i think it is is the shotgun bullets are bouncing off the other players body making them to come back and hit you... you can try this if you shoot anything at a wall at the right angle
