- quality could be better
- while I'm no pro at editing, I didn't like the presentation of clips here. Even when you tried to a/v a bunch of fast clips they were off. Also some things that would be easy to sync were not. When the guy goes 'ehheeey heeeyyy' or whatever you coulda easily timed your double snipe on colossus there
- lotsa meh kills
- don't show single nade kills unless it's a stick... just because the colossus nade was far does not make it montage worthy unless it stuck the guy

While it didn't really bother me, I also wasn't loving how a lot of the kills were cut off. I think that this could have been done better as well. If you used those clips in the fast a/v bit it would have worked, but just showing the triple looks weird. The rest of the gameplay that I didn't whine about already was decent, but nothing interesting. Triples in middy, killtacs in snipes... I guess it's montage worthy but it's not interesting or new either.

If you make another montage, record longer and get some more interesting kills. Your editing also has to be cleaned up somewhat. Honestly I would have rather just seen back to back stacked clips instead of some attempts here and there. However, don't do that... try some interesting stuff and get some a/v sync. Also, buy a capture card since VCR quality has its limits. Finally, learn to double shot because people will probably be flaming soon if a montage doesn't have at least 1 3 shot kill.

Overall i didnt really like the feel to the montage
My suggestions are get some good cross map sticks, some really nasty MLG BR and Sniper kills, get a better capture card, maybe some Dbl shotting.
I think you just need to record longer and get some better clips

That was decent for a first. Some meh kills were in there though. I didn't mind the rap because i think rap can be good if you sync it right. You should add some better multi's and some dbl shots. Just like other people say you should record longer and you will get better clips. Overall 6/10

Only 2 bad things I saw in the montage.

1: You used the same clip twice, it was the stick on a guy coming from mid map to BR 2. Probably a mistake but I noticed it for some reason.

2: Everybody has already said this but Ill say it again, Quality sucked. You need to get better quality so i can see whats going on in some of your clips especially when you kill someone cross map.


Other than that not a bad first montage. 6/10

That was the main thing that I noticed about your montage that I really didn't like. That's a real no-no. I really didn't like the music either. Everything else that people have mentioned I agree with, but it's all stuff that can be improved.
First of all get a capture card to improve the quality, and it'll be way easier to edit with.
Second capture more games. It seems you have the skill to put together a pretty good montage, just capture from more games so you have more OMG!!1! clips

But for a first attempt, editing off of VHS, not bad at all. I give it a 6/10.

Im just here to critique and give you tips about your tage, and yes i do realise it was your first

For me personally i had to shut it off slightly after 1 minute of watching... Why?

1. You had SO many opportunities to sync your clips and you didnt
2. So many meh killz, Single BXR's, Berserkers with just a 1 shot, things like that
3. VCR?

I would just work on basic editing, picking a good song and just synching a stick or snipe or BxR for a triple to the music, it is simple and effective and not very time consuming, i would take your time to record, cause if you do and you get crazy stuff it will make you look godly

Just trying to help, I'd buy a capture card too man
