Question about Wii points..

Im interested in buying wii points for nintendo wii, so i can play all of the oldschool games.
Do you have to have a Wi-Fi connection(or any internet connection) to buy the oldschool games??
i dont have my wii connected to the internet and i was wondering if i could still buy oldschool games with the wii points w/o internet connection.

no i am pretty sure you cant. becuase after you perchase them you have to download them to your wii.

you can purchase a Wii points card at your nearest store but you need to connect your Wii to the internet to download the games

If i were to connect my Wii to the internet, would i then have to buy an online account like xbl, or is it free, and do u need wi-fi to connect it or just regular connection?

you need a wi-fi connector if you dont have a router

you don't need any account or whatever and only the Wii Points cost something
